On my faceting machine, the thread on the lap arbor is excessively long, which meant I had to spend a lot of time tightening the lap after each lap change.
To solve this, I 3D-printed additional washers to place under the nut, allowing for quicker lap changes.
If you have the same issue, you can purchase a washer here. I have them printed in three different heights — 10, 15, and 20 mm—but if you need a different size, you can print it yourself.
Outer diameter – 25 mm, hole 12.8 mm.
Made from PLA+, they provide sufficient hardness for their intended use.
